Rice Cooker Fried Rice

Fried rice with carrots, peas, egg, and Chinese Sausage

The most hands-off cooked meal, perfect for in-office lunch

Ingredients:

  1. Rinse rice in cold water and gently swirl the grains. Then pour the water out. Repeat 3 times.
  2. Pour the rinsed rice into the rice cooker.
  3. Add a peeled potato to the center, then add carrots, sausage, onions, and green peas to the rice cooker.
  4. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and oil.
  5. Pour in 1 cup of water, and close the lid.
  6. Select “white rice” (if option exists). It's usually about 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your model.
  7. When the timer goes off, lift the lid and break the potato using a spoon. Then gently mix everything together. (Be careful not to scratch the bottom of your rice cooker)
  8. Season with salt to taste. Serve and enjoy!
